Brave and Standing Tall

Azores Portugal

If I am #BRAVE enough to stand TALL against those who have been groomed by #fear, I will recognize that where I get knocked down is all about where #life begins, and has nothing to do with where it ends. — Craig D. Lounsbrough

This place has an interesting character…with all the (almost) black #lava #rock formations that serve as a reminder of how the #island was formed thousands of years ago. The clear blue water was calling me to #dive in but the waves were going crazy that day we went, so there was no chance for the mermaid in me to swim at this side of the island. The danger wasn’t so much on the water, but on the rocks surrounding the area.

I had to be content sitting on the rocks, watching the waves, listening to sound of it crashing against the rocks, and saying a quiet #prayer ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผof thanks for a day spent appreciating #beauty.

It was a simple prayer of thanks for being alive, for being able to do what I do, go where I go, and see what I see.

Life is not free of challenges. In fact, we are faced with that day to day, in varying complications and impact in our existence.

If we face every challenge with faith that we will overcome it, somehow, we will find a way to get past that stage in our lives. We will always find a way if we believe that .

“…where I get knocked down is not where life ends…it is where life begins…”
