✅ A simple #bucketlist wish that I made happen in early 2017 — #swim at a #beach in #Europe in the #winter. 

This beach is one of my faves – it’s a beach for #surfing competitions in the summer. 🏄  🌊 We usually visit the Azores every year during the summer time to enjoy the water. This is a first time for us to experience winter at this side of the world.
Water was 16/17C that day. Nobody else was there. Everyone was at the comfort of their homes wearing sweaters and jackets. 👙 

They’ll never understand the thrill I felt from the feel of cold water on my skin, fresh #ocean breeze blowing my hair, the sound of crashing #waves , and the warm #kiss of the afternoon #sun on my face.
