We cannot always love the way we want to, the way they want us to, or the way we should — but we can always love the BEST way we could. When the other person knows that we have given the best of (what is available of) ourselves at whatever set of circumstances, the happiness we bring to this person’s life makes all the difference – in both theirs…..and ours.

Love is not a BIG word that calls for GRAND gestures of expression. Love is….doing something to make a person’s world a little less difficult…Love is doing a little something for someone who can never repay you.

To love is to accept….and trust the gift that is freely given to you. The moment you are able to fully understand this and grasp it, that is the moment that best expresses “Thank You.”
